Tubuai

The island of abundance

Its residents make their living from agriculture, thanks to a wide coastal plain that produces food and horticultural crops (potatoes, carrots, taro, yams, etc.), as well as abundant coffee and wild orange trees. It was on these lands that the Bounty mutineers chose to hide out.

Exceptional panoramas

Hike to Mount Taitaa (the island's highest peak) at 422 m, offering splendid views of Tubuai Lagoon and the Pacific Ocean.
Cycle along the coastal road, the warm, clear waters of the magnificent blue lagoon and its many Motu (islets) teeming with multicolored tropical fish, clams and lobsters, inviting you to snorkel and swim.

A stroll along the island's magnificent beaches, where the sand varies from white to pink to ochre, is soothing. The trade winds are also ideal for kitesurfing and windsurfing.

A natural and authentic adventure

There are plenty of opportunities to meet this radiant and generous natural world. A wonderful adventure through Tubuai's stunning landscapes awaits every visitor.
