On June 5, Tahiti Nui Travel celebrated its 60th anniversary at the Hilton Tahiti, surrounded by those who contribute every day to bringing Polynesian tourism to life.
A highlight of our history, a way to pay tribute to the path we have taken and to those who made it possible.
An evening rich in color, emotion and sharing, bringing together nearly 180 guests: our employees, hotel and excursion partners as well as representatives of institutions and the local tourism sector.
The story of an adventure
The evening opens to the rhythm of a vibrant 'orero, carried by the voice of our culture, while the first notes of a local music group resonate.
Diana Chin Choi, President and CEO of Tahiti Nui Travel, and Bud Gilroy, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Tahiti Tourisme, looked back on the major milestones that have shaped Tahiti Nui Travel since its creation.

A tribute to our roots and a vision for the future.
For 60 years, the agency has continued to build, connect the islands and introduce the world to the richness of our culture.
The breath of Enana
Inspired by the famous Marquesan tattoo motif: “Enana”, which means “human being” or “Man”, this emblem embodies the fundamental values that define Tahiti Nui Travel.
To celebrate this heritage, the sculpture of this emblem embodies the fundamental values that define Tahiti Nui Travel.
To celebrate this heritage, the sculpture of this emblem was born. Born from volcanic rock, shaped with patience and inspiration by Keanu Hikutini. It symbolizes our strength, our resilience, and our roots in Polynesian culture.

Heading for the Marquesas Islands
The evening then vibrated to the powerful rhythms of the Marquesan pahu of the Toa Huhina group, transporting the guests into a mystical and profound atmosphere.
A perfect echo of the spirit of Enana, Tahiti Nui Travel and the sculpture unveiled a few moments earlier.

A brilliant ending…
As smiles still lit up faces, the evening took a magical turn. An impressive wedding cake, adorned with the Tahiti Nui Travel logo, made its entrance to applause.
Surrounded by the entire team, Diana Chin Choi blew out the 60th anniversary candles, a symbol of a rich past and an inspiring future. A powerful moment of unity, simple and sincere, where each employee was honored.
And to close this celebration, the sky over Tahiti was ablaze. A fiery "60 years" followed by a majestic fireworks display illuminated the ocean and mountains, a vibrant tribute to six decades of passion, hard work, and commitment.

We are committed to continuing this wonderful mission together and to helping people discover the richness and authenticity of our islands.
