Project Description
Polynesians came quite late to this archipelago to enjoy the innumerable treasures of the Austral Islands.
Located in the South Pacific far away from the main maritime routes, this archipelago is comprises 5 principal high islands: Rurutu, Tubuai, Rimatara, Raivavae and Rapa.
They have fertile plains thanks to their climate which is cooler than that of Tahiti.
These marvellous islands have preserved their environment and traditions thanks to their distance.
