Several services are available within the grounds of the main terminal.
In terms of Cash… A currency exchange office opens up for international arrivals and departures. An ATM is also available in the lobby 24/7.
In terms of Luggage… Luggage storage is available daily from 6am to 12noon, and from 1:30pm to 10pm, Thursdays until 11pm, at the following rates: Luggage XL: 950XPF/7.96€; L: 800XP/6.70€; Carry-on: 700XPF/8.90€; Small bags: 450XPF/3.77€
In terms of Shopping… Duty Free shopping available for departures but also for international arrivals. We remind you that those under 18 are prohibited from buying tobacco and alcoholic beverages. Below is a reminder of authorized allowances, expressed in quantities per traveler. Tobacco: 200 cigarettes OR 100 cigarillos OR 50 cigars OR 250g of loose tobacco Alcohol: 2 liters for wine AND 2 liters for other alcoholic beverages Perfumes & Colognes: 50g and 250ml respectively Coffee: 40g of coffee or 500g of coffee extracts and essences Tea: 100g of tea or 40g of tea extract.
Outside the customs area, check out the Polynesian souvenir shops, the Tahitian Pearls jewelry shop, local and international news/tobacco stand, but also the Tahiti Fleurs shop, specializing in the sale of flowers and plants for export… take the fragrance of Polynesia home with you…
A final immersion in local folklore… check out Fare Hei located near the main terminal: where the “mamas” exhibit their crafts, traditional flower leis, and seashells. Caution! Flowers cannot be exported without an agricultural inspection.
In terms of Dining… Several fast food points are available: snacks in the Atrium or Lounge space and Mc Donalds’ Café (6am-6pm only) outside the customs area. Snacking on the terrace in the customs area (with smoking area).
In terms of Comfort… Are you traveling Eco or Eco Premium? To end your trip in style, book your access to the Business Lounge located in the boarding area. This lounge opens two hours before take-off, its schedules are arranged according to the departures of flights operated by Air Tahiti Nui, Air France, Air New Zealand, Air Calédonie International, Japan Airlines and Qantas. Enjoy panoramic views of the runways, comfortable furniture and free Wifi access, in addition to the television and magazines available. Refreshments and snacks are also available. Paid access is available from us upon request. Caution! Seating is limited.
Stay connected… Wifi available throughout the airport via prepaid ManaSpot cards with access code. These cards are available online (handy! Buy your card before you leave!) or from authorized dealers, particularly in the Newrest snack shops at the Airport. They allow you to connect to the entire ManaSpot network. Caution! Due to the remoteness of our islands, connection quality may not be comparable to that in the large mainland cities.
