This excursion will inform you during a 3-hour walk about the Polynesians history, their migration and their ancestral lifestyles.

This excursion will start from the archaeological site « Teti’iroa » in the Valley of Opunohu on the road leading to the Belvédère.

Your guide will take you to the restored sites in 1972 by the professor Yosihiko Sinoto from the Bishop Museum.

The path leads to contemporary tiki carved in the river; and it ends with an area of pre-European habitation and terrace cultivation.

You will end your visit at the archery platform and with explanations about Polynesian sports.
