New features & main changes
In Tahiti
- The Snorkeling Guided Tour, Lagoon & Ocean – 03H00 / Morning Tour takes participants to 2 dive sites : the Aquarium in the lagoon (with plane wreckage, tropical fish) then the Source in the ocean (with turtles, sharks, reef fish etc…), passing through the Taapuna pass where dolphins and surfers enjoy the waves.
- Don’t leave the Fenua without trying your hand at a Fishing Party ! One of the most practiced activities locally. During the day, at sunrise or sunset, measure yourself against trevally, wahoo, bonito and tuna aboard a Poti Marara (locally built fishing boat).
- The Hiking in FAUTAUA Valley, East coast is available again, on full day only. Discover the rich flora, the waterfalls and ponds as well as the archaeological sites of Tahiti.
In Tahiti Iti, Tahiti’s peninsula
- Discover the hidden Treasures and ancestral legends of the untouched peninsula of Tahiti during a half-day or full-day boat trip : the famous wave of Teahupoo, cliffs, waterfalls, lavatubes and caves.
- Take advantage of the tranquility of the place to try your hand at Apnea Initiation with a qualified instructor ! After a briefing at the center where you will be learning the basics of freediving, take a boat trip for a few minutes in the lagoon. Once on site, dive along a stretch and experience your first sensations in apnea !
- In season, go Whale Watching in these uncrowded waters.
In Moorea
- The Mana’hau High End Private Boat offers private day outings with lunch, half-day and sunset with dinner aperitif. Comfort, service and water toys available (subwing, mask and snorkel).
In season, the Mana’hau also takes you to discover the whales. Benefit from the knowledge of your dedicated specialist biologist.
- After a few explanations and demonstrations in the vegetable garden, put on your apron for a Polynesian Culinary Experience Moorea Food & CookLab ! Equipped with simple utensils like at home, combine the products together, try your hand at different traditional cooking methods that reveal new flavors, make the best sauces and side dishes. Finally, sit down to lunch and taste your creations enjoying a moment of sharing together.
- Immortalize on canvas the sumptuous nature that surrounds you during an Outdoor Painting Class with Nataly Jolibois, French impressionist painter. She works with light oil on cotton linen canvas and exports her art all over the world. Through these classes, she has been transmitting for more than 20 years a knowledge accumulated during her research on the powers of color.
In Bora Bora
- The Cultural Immersion in Bora Bora : Lagoon, Va’a & Botanical excursion is now available on a full day only. Hop aboard a superb outrigger canoe, discover the history, the local culture through the va’a, culinary specialties and cultural workshops, lagoon underwater life during snorkeling stops, but also no less than 43 species of fruit trees and tropical plants on the family motu.
- Different atmosphere during a Private Day in Tupai by catamaran – Full day (gourmet lunch included). Tupai, the iconic heart-shaped atoll is unique, uninhabited and unspoiled. Be one of the privileged few to have landed there ! On the program, after 2h30 cruising, enter the heart of Tupai’s lagoon, enjoy the turquoise water, the pristine white sand beaches and lush vegetation. After 4 to 5 hours on the island, head for Bora Bora, with a Champagne sunset over the ocean and a superb panorama of Mount Otemanu.
In Huahine
- Polynesian experience Culture & traditions of Huahine: Legends, Va’a, Lunch with locals : Discover the unmissable sites of Huahine but also some exclusive and original sites such as the Shell Museum or the pareo shop. Lunch will take place at your guide’s home where his family will warmly welcome you around delicious culinary specialties. The day continues with an introduction to the traditional Polynesian canoe (or cultural workshops in case of bad weather).
In Rangiroa
- You can now combine the two major sites of the atoll during the COMBO TOUR Reef Island & Blue Lagoon.
- Another option, the Excursion Village Otepipi & Reef Island Tour : after about 1h20 boat ride, first stop at the former village of Otepipi, its Catholic church made of corals and exotic woods and its beach of absolute beauty. First swim in the translucent natural pools in the middle of multicolored fish. Then head to the Reef Island for a typical Polynesian lunch, accompanied by music and traditional songs. On the way back, stop at the Tiputa pass to watch the dolphins and finally the last snorkeling stop at « L’Aquarium », a site teeming with fish sheltered from the currents.
- Finally, note that Initiation to Sky Diving is now available from Tahiti, Moorea and Bora Bora ! Take the plunge and live an intense moment above the magnificent colors and reliefs of the Polynesian islands.
