The hotel has decided to play its part in protecting the island’s stray dogs by supporting Bora Bora Animara (the Animals of Bora Bora), the local animal protection association, by creating its Bora Bora Furry Friends program.
With the help of supportive guests, the resort aims to make financial contributions to the association in order to improve and extend the island’s stray animal shelter facilities and encourage adoption.
The St Régis therefore presents a tropical colour selection of pet accessories in its shop: “Bora Bora Furry Friends” collars, leashes, blankets, harnesses and bags, with part of the proceeds being donated to the association.
Donations would also be gratefully received and guests are invited to add a few francs to their bill upon check out. All donations will go directly to the “Bora Bora Animara” association.
