The resort will undergo renovation works of the overwater bungalows located in the right-hand side of the property (when looking to the ocean) that will thus be closed from November 17th, 2014 till April 2015.
Below the message received from the resort:
“Dear Partner,
We are delighted to share some very exciting news with you regarding anticipated
renovation projects at the Hilton Bora Bora Nui Resort & Spa, which has been so well received by the traveling public since it opened in the fall of 2003.
• Starting November 17, 2014, the 42 different villas in the 300 series of overwater bungalows on the right hand side of the resort (see enclosed plan) will be closed until end of January 2015, in order to allow some exterior maintenance and landscaping work in that area. During this time, all the other villas will be open and the resort will be operating normally.
• Between February and April 2015, we will proceed with the complete interior
renovation of all bungalows in the 300 series. This should not impact visiting guests, since it will only affect the interiors of a select group of bungalows at any given time, until all are completed.
How will it look afterwards?
All overwater bungalows in the 300’s area will be completely refurbished, the furniture changed, as well as the lighting in order to give them a more contemporary look, while maintaining the traditional and unique Polynesian style.
There is more! We have just completed the renovation of our model room and we are happy to inform you that we will soon have a new category of few overwater villas featuring:
– Private swimming pools
– Bed and a bathrooms facing the lagoon
– Larger terraces and sundecks
– Catamaran-style nets over the water – for a unique way to relax and soak in your
surroundings.
