Destiny of a 22 year old Polynesian
After training at the Lycée Hotelier de Tahiti (hospitality vocational high school), the young Temauri Foster was hired in 2014 as a simple commis chef at the St James gourmet restaurant on Bora Bora. Ambitious and passionate, he forged his experience alongside his predecessor and gradually rose through the ranks until being named Chef of this renowned restaurant on the island at age 22. His leitmotiv: preserving the subtle flavors of fish and other local ingredients, while using the major techniques of French cuisine.
